General Information & Conditions of Travel

Departures

We recommend passengers be at scheduled stop and check in luggage with driver 15 minutes prior to departure.

Luggage

The company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage arising out of or in any way incidental to the service or the accommodation or the transfer of any luggage between the vehicle and any place of accommodation whether such loss or damage may be due to alleged negligence or misconduct on the part of the company, its employees or agents or otherwise whoever.

Excess Luggage

The total amount of free of charge luggage per fare paying passenger is one suitcase (no more than 20kgs) and one small carry on cabin bag. Anything in excess of this is subject to the following additional charges:
Extra Suitcase/Bag; Golf Bags; Large Packages/Boxes - $11.00. per item.
Any suitcase/bag/package in excess of 20kgs in weight MUST be loaded/unloaded by the passenger, due to workplace, health and safety laws.
Excess luggage may not always be able to travel on the same service as passengers and may need to be carried on a later service.

Tickets

Open Tickets valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
Passengers wishing to change the travel date of the ticket are permitted once only, or a fee of $11.00. per change will occur.
Concession Cards must be sighted and the numbers quoted on tickets. Drivers will check cards upon boarding.
Conditions
All schedules are correct at the time of printing. (1st. March. 2009.) The company reserves the right to alter the schedules as it deems necessary. Whilst every effort is made to maintain the timetabled service, no responsibility will be taken for inconvenience due to delayed service and any additional cost or expenses.

Cancellations

NO REFUND UNDER 24 HOURS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
50% REFUND UNDER 48 HOURS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
If the passenger fails to board the coach, the fare will be forfeited.

Unaccompanied Child Policy

Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to travel unaccompanied on any Tory's InterCity service. Between the ages of 9 and 14 years an unaccompanied form is required for each stage of travel.

Food & Drink

The consumption of food and drink is not permitted aboard the coach at any time. Only cool drinks with a screw top lid will be permitted aboard the coach. Smoking and the consumption of alcohol is prohibited by federal and state laws.

Joining Procedures at Brisbane Airport.

Domestic Terminal.

Please proceed to the Qantas end of the terminal building (even if you have flown with another airline). The coach will pick-up in the 2nd Road (Bus & Coach pick-up lane) outside the Qantas Check-in. This spot is our allocated pick-up, we cannot pick-up anywhere else. It is your responsibility to be in the correct place prior to the 2.20.pm. departure. Please note; the coach departs the City Transit Centre at 2.00.pm. and on days of heavy traffic there may be a short delay in arriving at the airport to pick-up.

International Terminal.

Please proceed to the Coach Terminal located on the ground level. Follow the signs from the arrivals lounge, down the walkway to the coach parking bays. Please wait here for our coach to arrive for your pick-up at 2.30.pm. It is your responsibility to be in the correct place prior to the 2.30.pm. departure. Please note; the coach departs the City Transit Centre at 2.00.pm, picking up at the Domestic Terminal first, on days of heavy traffic there may be a short delay in arriving at the International Airport to pick-up.
